- July 7 (Tuesday): New Member Lunch, noon, Big Whiskeys (Battlefield Road location); experienced members are welcome to join new members to learn about an aspect of club operations
- July 9 (Thursday): Simpson Shrimp Feed (annual Club Assembly), 5:00, Patrick Harrington’s home (2115 Deer Run Lane), this takes the place of our regular weekly meeting that day. This is a members only event and is free of charge. This is a more casual event that will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Beverages will be provided and include water, beer, and limited wine. The evening begins with an hour of fellowship. We will take a group photo and then dinner will be around 6:00. Following dinner we break into small groups to provide member feedback on pre-determined questions. We hope you can join us for a memorable evening of fun and fellowship! If you can't eat shrimp or simply don't like it, don't let that stop you from coming! You can include a request on your RSVP for chicken tenders instead of shrimp. New members (those who have joined Rotary since July 2025) are asked to volunteer to help with set-up and food service. For those still working on their 100-points worksheet, volunteering at this event will get you closer to getting your blue badge.
