COMMUNITY

The overall objective of this lane is to improve the quality of life in the Springfield community.

 

K-PARK

The Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast has formally committed to "K-Park at Jordan Valley Park", an interactive sculpture park, as our Centennial Project.

 

PROJECTS

Review requests from organizations and individuals for financial or membership support.

Presents approved requests to the Board for club approval.

When appropriate, assists with the formal presentation to the recipient at a scheduled meeting.

 

ROTARACT

Maintains liaison with the Springfield Rotaract Club and offers our club support with membership, goal setting and general topics.

 

STUDENT GUESTS

Works with high school counselors in presenting to the club at a scheduled meeting, one or two outstanding seniors for recognition.

College students are also recognized from time to time.

A token gift is given to the student.

 

YOUTH PROJECTS

Recruits young adults for Rotary  programs, i.e. World Affairs Seminar and RYLA camps.
